imagesNew York, America

A general observation I have made while exploring the big city alone is that unless they are by profession photographers (and trust me, I’m living with one so I’d know), Americans cannot take pictures and therefore when you need a photo of yourself taken I suggest you stand and wait until you spot an Asian who will probably know how to work the focus function on your camera even if it is already equipped with autofocus because trust me, Asians know where it’s at.

I mean, I was right in front of the lens. How could you mess that up?! How?!

Thanks, America. (I still love you.)

Whereas this was taken with on my own, because asian-selfie level is high.

    Hello there,

First and foremost, Happy New Year to you! I’ve chance upon your blog recently and got to know that you travel alone frequently. I’m about to book myself a ticket to New York in a couple of months, but I’m clueless of where to begin from as it would be my first solo trip. Would you be writing a detailed blog about your NYC trip? Otherwise I would really appreciate if you are able to share with me on your NYC experience 🙂
