Anyway, PGC and GBC in its entirety finally met up today for a post christmas brunch at Bugis’ Siam Kitchen!

Afternoons peppered with convent girl convert Syafiqah’s thats what she said moments, huge life updates and the real life version of facebook’s live feed, and me dragging everyone to the singtel shop where they obediently ooh and aahed at appropriate points in conversation while i showed them the lumia 800 that I’m planning on getting this weekend. Real Life Sitcoms, terrorizing members of the public, su shouting ‘I LEGITLY LOVE YOU’ whenever an oh snap moment happens.

After- met XQ for Sherlock Holmes, its the second time this week I’m watching it, i hope that says something about how good the movie is. The crowd at tampines was a lot less rowdy than the lido crowd though, and it really makes a difference to the entire movie experience when there are people screaming in laughter and cheering in the middle of the show- watch it in town is what i am saying.

It was reinforced to me today how much a sucker for cliches i really am- no moment happier than when i stepped out of the theater and into the chilly evening air, headed down to Aunt Annie’s for warm cinnamon pretzels, laughing over some silly joke, whispering a note of grateful thanks for the shops too lazy to take down their twinkling christmas lights. So precious.
